Barcode scans that exist but are not trustworthy
Scan rates look healthy in the WMS. Accuracy is inconsistent. The scan record exists but cannot be relied on in a dispute without corroborating evidence that may or may not be there.
WMS events that stop at the dock
The WMS records the receiving or shipping event, but does not capture condition detail, count granularity, or carrier context in a form that supports downstream proof when a question opens weeks later.
Driver or receiver records inconsistent across shifts
Some stops or receipts generate complete records. Others do not. The inconsistency across routes, shifts, or facilities makes the proof unreliable as a portfolio rather than just at individual events.
Paperwork that is incomplete or cannot be retrieved
BOLs are missing, packing slips are not retained, or dock paperwork is filed in ways that make retrieval impractical by the time a dispute or discrepancy surfaces weeks later.
